So often we go to God in prayer asking for hand outs. "God I need this, God give me that, God if only I had..." Are you guilty of asking for hand outs from God? Or better yet telling God what to hand you?
It seems that in our desperation is when we hit our knees the most. In our desperation. We are always in our greatest need.
God knows our needs my friends. The answer to our needs is not a hand out but rather a hand up.
Next time you find yourself asking God for hand outs take His hand up instead.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
